Through annual programs and projects, the organization is able to  and will continue to fulfill the service imperative avowed by our founders through creative programs, advocacy, action and collaborative partnerships. Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Incorporated is dedicated to implementing programs of service that enhance the social, economic, and educational well-being of the local, national and international communities. Our programs remain the heart of ΙΦΛ. The scope of services provided to our communities can  improve the quality of life for all who reside within our service areas. 

American education week

Annually, sorors work in support of the National Education Association via its national theme to celebrate and embrace America’s public schools.

black history month

Programs designed to encourage youth and adults to understand the issues faced by African Americans, to share ideas and reactions, and to recognize African Americans who have had a significant impact on our nation and the world.

business month

Iota’s capstone programs occur throughout the month of April. Activities focus on efforts to stimulate interest in business education and to recognize those who have made outstanding achievements in the field of business.

Founder's day

This day is celebrated on the first day of June throughout Iotaland. On this day we celebrate Lola Mercedes Parker and what her insight brought forth within the sorority.
